Peanut Butter is a barn favorite—he’s the first one at the gate every morning. Peanut Butter has been in our training program since he was a 3-year-old, and he’s done everything on the ranch: branding, sorting, and doctoring yearlings. Our cows run in the mountains in Fairfield, ID, in the summer. Peanut Butter is excellent on the trails, crosses water, goes through thick down timber, and walks over logs. Peanut Butter is a really nice HEAD, HEEL, and BREAKAWAY horse! He’s excellent in the box, has a lot of natural rate and cow sense, a smooth, big stop, and a nice move in the heading. He’s been to several ranch rodeos. Dan and I are excited to be offering a quality gelding like this in our sale. Peanut Butter packed all the victory lap flags at the Gooding PRCA Rodeo in 2024 and also led the Gooding parade. Big crowds don’t bother this gelding. He’s been used for lessons and has always been super safe and gentle. He’s very smooth to ride, light-mouthed, and will move off your legs. If you know Dan, you know how he’ll load about anything in a trailer or our semi, so Peanut Butter will get into any kind of trailer with about anything in it. He’s excellent to bathe and shoe.
